It also allows switching of individual outputs, voltage measurement, current and temperature measurement. The status of the source can be checked using a web browser from the internal web pages of the source and from the master system using SNMP. It is possible to control the source in the same way. The input voltage is protected by a circuit breaker with a rated current of 10 A and a C characteristic. The used internal power supply modules are able to operate in the range of 100–264 V AC without the need for switching. If the voltage drops sharply, the consumption from the mains will increase and the 230 V circuit breaker may fail. The voltage of 230 V is measured in the source and the measured value is available both on the source’s control web pages and in the information for the monitoring system. input voltage 230 V outside the set range, the source will report this. The power supply does not have a mains switch, it is designed for permanent use.

Output circuits

Three 48 V output circuits with a rated current of 10 A, an external battery circuit and a 230 V supply voltage are protected by standard circuit breakers available on the front panel of the power supply. For 48V outputs and an external battery, both poles (plus and minus) are disconnected by the circuit breaker. For all circuit breakers, their status is sensed via an auxiliary indication contact.

Front panel

There are two Ethernet connectors ETH 1 and ETH 2 on the front panel (one for connection to the remote monitoring system, the other for connecting a service technician), an indicator LED showing the current power supply status, an LCD display showing details and two buttons for local battery disconnector control. There are also circuit breakers for individual outputs, battery and 230 V input on the front panel.

Back panel

On the rear panel there are connectors for connecting outputs and battery and EURO plug for connecting 230 V power supply.

Basic technical parameters

Dimensions

Dimensions: 19 “module height 3U and depth 40 cm (without connectors), width
(without holders) 43 cm, depth 40 cm, height 13 cm
The power supply is designed for mounting in a 19 “switchboard (rack),
the ventilation openings on the rear and side panels must not be covered

Mass

14 kg

Dust and water protection

IP20

Operating temperature range

0 to 45 ° C

Storage temperature range

-20 to 60 ° C

Humidity

20 to 80%, non-condensing

Nominal supply voltage

230 V ± 10%, 50 Hz

Input current maximum

10A

Battery disconnector voltage

43.5 V (1.8 V / cell)

Rated output current

3 × 10 A

Output voltage tolerance

± 3%

Efficiency (at a rated power of 1,500 W)

85 %

Connecting connectors

LAN (Ethernet)

2 × RJ45

230 V supply

EURO forks

48 V output

3 pairs of double-pin forks PA256 / 7.62 – cross section
conductors max. 2.5 mm2

External battery

six-pin plug PA256 / 7.62 – conductor cross section
max. 2.5 mm2 (it is assumed to use the battery for connection)
3 parallel cables with a cross-section of 2.5 mm2 for each battery pole,
connected to the battery terminal)

Auxiliary outputs (not connected in basic version)

2 double pin forks PA256 / 7.62

Earthing

Earth terminal

The 48 V 1,500 W power supply is intended for power supply in the field of telecommunications.
